What Is REDDOC?

REDDOC is your local general practitioners out of hours co-operative. The organisation was started in 1996 to enable GPs in this area to work together to help patients who need advice or treatment in the evenings or night-time or at weekends. The initials stand for Reading Doctors On Call and the 116 members are partners in 25 practices in and around Reading. Only GPs registered with the Berkshire Health Authority may become members and no locum doctors work within the group.
